At Foxton Primary, we prioritise the health and well-being of our tamariki by providing nutritious meals to fuel their learning journey.
As part of the Fruit in Schools scheme, every child at our kura receives at least one piece of fruit each day to enjoy. This initiative promotes healthy eating habits and ensures that our students have access to fresh, nutritious snacks throughout the day.
Our school prepares delicious and nutritious lunches daily, providing students with balanced meals to support their growth and development. If your child has any dietary requirements, please inform the school office and we’ll accommodate their needs.
During lunchtime, children have the option to stay on campus and enjoy their meals in the common eating area. Students who prefer to go home for lunch are asked to inform their class teacher or the duty teacher. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to leave the school grounds without parental notification. If you wish for your child to come home for lunch, please contact the school office or send a note with your child.
We strive to create a positive and inclusive lunchtime experience for all our students, promoting healthy eating habits and fostering a sense of community. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our lunch program, please don't hesitate to contact us.
