Foxton School has been inspiring and empowering students to achieve for over 160 years. Our school is based in the centre of Foxton, just north of the shopping centre. We have Rumaki (Total Immersion) and Bi Lingual Level 3, (45 – 50% Maori instructional learning.)

We have classes for five year olds and up to  Yr 8 intermediate level. We are recognised for providing a prestigious all-round education that gives our tamariki (students) a multicultural lens. This inspires themselves and others to be good people.

 Good people make good choices.   

Student welfare and well-being is central to our ethos, and we provide a stimulating and inclusive environment that goes beyond the classroom. Our friendly staff provide extracurricular activities, i.e. our year 8 student’s graduate by travelling overseas. Attendance, attitude, aptitude and good work ethics are prerequisites of our criteria. We are a proud tier 2 PB4L Kura (School)

During their time with us, it is expected that our tamariki will develop a growth mentality that will encourage them to contribute positively to the local and global communities. They have become agents for change.

In all, we inspire and empower our tamariki (students) to achieve greatness within themselves.
