Te Kura ō Te Awahou, has stood as a beacon of educational excellence for over 160 years, inspiring and empowering generations of students.

"He Kura Ate Raukawa," our mission is clear: to provide our tamariki (students) with an exceptional all-round education that instills within them a multicultural perspective. We firmly believe that by nurturing good people, we inspire good choices. Central to our ethos is the well-being of our students, and we strive to create a stimulating and inclusive environment that extends beyond the classroom.

Our dedicated staff go above and beyond to offer a range of extracurricular activities, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to flourish. From overseas travel for our Year 8 graduates to fostering a positive attitude, attendance, aptitude, and strong work ethic, we set high standards for excellence. As a proud Tier 2 PB4L Kura (School), we prioritize positive behavior for learning.

Throughout their journey with us, we encourage our tamariki to adopt a growth mindset, empowering them to become catalysts for positive change in both local and global communities.
